STEM Night
January 19th 5:30-7:00
SCIENCE FAIR:
Information about science fair projects, the display and safety rules, project ideas, an informational power point, project formats, rubrics, and other helpful suggestions are linked on the Wilmeth website. After turning in the registration form, Mrs. Graham will send an email with links to this information and other great information that will help your child make scientific discoveries!
All projects need to be brought to school on Tuesday, January 19, 2017. You will be able to set up and display your project in the library starting at 7:30 am. All projects must be set up by 8:00 that morning. Our judging will begin shortly thereafter.
FAMILY STEM NIGHT:
We would love for all parents and students to come back that evening from 5:30-7:00 for the family STEM night. All projects will be on display, we will find out which projects earned a ribbon, and it will be a great opportunity to see what other discoveries fellow Longhorns have made.
All students will also be able to participate in STEM challenges in the cafeteria that night. Every teacher will be in the cafeteria facilitating an engineering challenge with a Super Hero theme. We hope you are excited about the discoveries you are soon to make!
